Margin of Error: Clarifying the rules of Thumb
Dru Rose (Westlake Girls High School) presented a workshop to help clarify the rules of thumb for teachers, and look at students activities to help students decide when to use each rule in evaluating statistical reports in the media. It should be used in conjunction with her 2012 Margin of error and testing claims in the media presentation which includes a video of the workshop.
