Variation, Variation, and Variation – Anzar Chida
Anzar Chida (Mount Albert Grammar School) presented at the 2017 Statistics teachers day.
She notes: In one part of the assignment, describing variation entails saying something like: “If I took a different sample, I would get different results.” But then, at another point in the assignment, it has something to do with the size of the IQR? and why does “sources of variation” seem so different to the first two?
Anzar’s workshop is an attempt to understand all these different types of “variation” as different manifestations of one permeating idea.
