Statistics Education 21st Century NZ – Presentation with resources

This presentation is still relevant to teaching statistics in the New Zealand Curriculum – it looks at the PPDAC cycle, which underpins the current statistics strand (2023 draft curriculum).

A presentation addressing the problems that can arise when posing and asking questions. Following the PPDAC cycle, Pip Arnold looks at types of questions generated from data, how to phrase them correctly, identify the purpose of the investigation and follow through the investigation with regard to those questions.

Pip was the Bevan Werry speaker for 2008-2009.
