Aiming for Excellence in bivariate data
Dru Rose, Westlake Girls’ High School, provided advice for teaching bivariate data analysis for the first time or for teachers still trying to make sense of the new standard. This presentation will focus on helping students to construct coherent arguments with statistical evidence to justify statements made, precision and validity of predictions and address the issues of research, causality, confounding variables and the deeper understanding of models needed for Excellence.
