Michelle Dalrymple’s (Cashmere High School) workshop generated and explored data where sampling variation turning up in places students don’t expect, such as simulations or probability distributions.

Michelle shared activities and ideas she has used to help students understand sampling variation, including a focus on the sample-to-population inference progressions and sampling variation with data derived from a probability situation.
