Inference writing frame
A writing frame to help students with their analysis and conclusion when making an inference (informal confidence intervals).
This has been tried and tested with students and found to be very successful. Print out one per student/group. The left columns are sentence starters or hints for what to include and the right column is what that box is about. Students write in the middle boxes. Remember that this is a guide only.
As suggested by the author when used with kiwi kapers, “I split my class into groups of 4-ish and each group decided on a kiwi question, I printed the graphs from C@S for them and they filled the frame (A3 size) in together.”
