Dr Michelle Dalrymple from Cashmere High School, is a 2014 Endeavour Teacher Fellow for the Royal Society of New Zealand Te Aparangi.
Michelle has looked at how ‘big data’ is influencing decision making, careers and other important aspects of society your students are participating in.
Her presentation for the Canterbury Mathematics Association may stimulate discussion about careers in Statistics or studying Statistics at University level for your senior students.
