Survey Monkey – Checklist

This checklist is from the Survey Monkey site.

It lists “behind the scene” thinking about what makes a good survey, particularly in an age where “time is money” and people seem to have shorter and shorter attention spans.

A starter activity for questionnaire design could be taking the survey used by the TV program Family Feud to find out what the “Survey Says“. Think about the questions: Why they work, what else people think about when filling out the questionnaire, possible associations i.e would Bill English’s wear blue underwear? Come up with possible sets of answers for each based on class results.
