Building towards a thinking classroom
Tom Lin’s (Epsom Girls Grammar School) workshop had participants create ‘hooks’ to improve learners’ curiosity and engagement. The workshop covered WHY, WHAT and HOW you can take easy and small steps in creating your own mathematical thinking classroom.
The hooks/activities are based on ideas inspired by Which One Doesn’t Belong and Would You Rather Math.
