Improving students’ PPDAC written responses (Year 9 to 13)
Laura Leman and Sophie Wright from Mt Roskill Grammar School (MRGS), presented at the 2013 joint Auckland Mathematics Association and Department of Statistics (University of Auckland) Statistics Teachers Day.
MRGS have been trialling writing strategies and frameworks to improve the quality of students written responses, descriptions and evaluations for the PPDAC cycle for years 9 through 13. The department have been really pleased with student work and have lots of evidence, resources and activities they are glad to share.
