Conducting statistical investigations in Year 9 and Year 10 to develop learners’ statistical thinking

Robyn Masanga  (Whangaparaoa College) led a discussion on using statistical investigations as a means of enhancing students’ understanding of critical statistical concepts. Robyn discussed how Whangaparaoa College set up their statistical inference topic for Year 9 and 10 students to encourage insightful statistical thinking based on the PPDAC investigative cycle.
