Louise Addison from McAuley High School, presented a reworked plan for building year 10 students concepts about Probability for NCEA Level 1 the following year.
Louise discussed a range of ways of thinking about how teachers might build the ‘front end’ of the NZ Curriculum (the Vision, Principles, Values, Key Competencies, Effective Pedagogues and Learning Area Statements) into existing units of work, by refocusing on how you teach rather than what you teach.
